1. I use to be a phlebotomist...yep...a vampire...I loved to draw blood...I loved the challenge of finding a good vein...loved watching the way blood would fill the vial and the warm feeling of fresh drawn blood in my hand.
2. I believe we are here on earth to learn our own unique set of lessons so please take off your eyes of judgement...you tend to your garden and I'll tend to mine (so to speak)..God didn't put us here to condemn each other so we should try to have a gentle tongue.
3. I was a very popular aerobic instructor, won trophies for racquetball, and was part of a Latin Hustle dance team from New York!
Wow that was a lot more fun than I thought....thank you dear Magaly!
Oh my, oh my the surprises you learn with these things! Okay, the things I learn. A dancer and a phlebotomist, huh? What an awesome combo. Did you know that my running buddy was a phlebotomist too? She was also my home nurse when I hurt my hip and was bed-bound. She is in Germany right now; I miss her. Hm, I'm going to call her tonight.

ReplyDeleteWoo a vampire no less! Amazing all these secrets come out at Awards ceremonies LOL! I'm with you Deborah, my dad always said to us kid's if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all... and ESPECIALLY don't say it behind someones back LOL. People judging others, condemning others for being a different race, religion, whatever, usually shows a lack of intelligence and education of the person saying it anyway ;) I like that, tending your own garden, well said!
ReplyDeleteHey Deb ;o) I deleted my first comment. I didn't say what I wanted to say right! Congrats on you winning the award! Yeh! A vampire??? How wicked my friend ;o) I don't think it's something I could do! And, ditto on what Shelle said and what you said ;o)
ReplyDeleteHi Magaly...I never knew you were bed-bound with a hip injury...you deem like you are in very good shape so I'm sure you bounced back quickly!
ReplyDeleteShelle...yes this is fun...you just never know what little secrets we all have!
ReplyDeleteHi Stacy...yes I guess I am wicked...lol...I like the way that sounds!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to learn more about you! Your thoughts on lack of judgement for one another is so powerful. How exciting that you were an aerobics instructor and part of a dance team. Congratulations on your award and thank you so much for your well wishes.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mina...I hope you are resting!
